AR Expands RF Amplifier Line With
Introduction
Of 1000-Watt Model 1000A250
Souderton, PA – 5/10/05 – AR
has added more options to its line of high power “A” series
amplifies with the introduction of the 1000-watt model
1000A250. Joining the 2500A250A, 5000A250A and the
10,000A250A, the new model is designed to for the 100kHz – 250
MHz frequency range.
Model 1000A250 provides readily available RF power
for typical applications such as RF susceptibility
testing, antenna and component testing, watt meter
calibration, particle accelerators, plasma generation,
communications and for use as a driver for high-power
amplifiers.
Like all AR amplifiers, model 1000A250 offers extensive
control and status reporting capabilities, including
remote control and remote status indicators. Special
features include a gain control, internal/external
automatic level control (ALC) with front panel control
of the ALC threshold, pulse input capability and RF
output level protection. Also included is an internal
RF detector which provides an output for use in self-testing
or operational modes.
