AR Turns Up The Power On Its S Series Amplifiers
Souderton, PA – 5/13/05 – AR
has introduced two new models in its line of S Series
broadband amplifiers. Models 700S1G4 (.8 – 4.2
GHz) and 800S1G3 (.8 – 3 GHz) have rated power
outputs of 700 watts and 800 watts respectively.
The two new amplifiers represent a dramatic increase
in power options within the S Series. Previously, model
450S1G3, with a rated power output of 450 watts, was
the highest power amplifier in the series.
Both the 700S1G4 and the 800S1G4 have low levels of
spurious signals and superior linearity, making them
ideal for use as driver amplifiers in testing wireless
and communication components and subsystems. Each can
be used as a test instrument covering multiple frequency
bands, and they are suitable for a variety of communication
technologies such as CDMA, W-CDMA, TDMA, GSM, etc.
They are also suitable for EMC Test applications where
high power and undistorted modulation envelopes are
desired.
