AR Continues To Pack More Power Into Smaller, Compact "S" Series Amplifiers

S1G4 Amplifiers Now Go Up To 1200 Watts

Souderton, PA — January 22, 2011 — AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation has already reduced the size of its "S" Series solid-state amplifiers, making them smaller, lighter, more compact & portable without losing any power. The smaller size makes them more energy-efficient and a better value.

Reducing the size while maintaining the power was a challenge; but now AR has added even more power to these smaller, more compact amplifiers. The S1G4 amplifiers cover the 0.8 - 4.2 GHz frequency range and now offer 20, 40, 80, 175, 350, 600, 900, and 1200-watt models.

Expandable Power
Many of AR's "S" Series amplifiers are designed so that when additional power is needed, you can add another amplifier, rather than having to toss out the old amp and start all over again with a higher power model. You can also use the amplifiers independently when higher power is not needed. AR calls this building block concept Subampability™ and it's another way that AR products deliver more value and cost-effectiveness to customers.
